New Faces, New Team Spirit
Experienced E-Sports team Team Spirit was always present in CIS for Dota 2. They had a frustrating record of constantly changing their roasters, pretty much every season since 2016. Just a few months ago, last August, they dropped off their final roaster. Now the famous Dota 2 team is back with a new crew.
Now Its Time To Be Positive
Positive Guys, a group of gamers who recently either left, dropped off or released from various other teams, forms the new roaster for Team Spirit. The roaster has demonstrated an impressive track record against professional teams such as Virtus Pro or Natus Vincere. Positive Guys is now, led by Mihail “Misha” Agatov, officially part of Team Spirit family.
This news, however, didn’t change the fact that the fans are still on edge regarding the team’s future. Due to the constant roster changes, the fans are losing interest in the team. This is because, due to sudden and constant changes, the fans fail to connect with the player. Team Spirit has previously released Old But Gold (OBG) before giving the team a chance to prove themselves. OBG had experienced gamers who are incredibly popular among the fans. But they were dropped off before they completed their “getting used to the team” phase.
Fans Still Have Hope
Despite the history of Team Spirit, fans are trying to stay positive. Now, with the presence of incredibly experienced players such as Alexander “Immersion” Hmelevskoy or Misha, Igor “iLTW” Filatov, the team may reach stability. Plus, the team currently holds a guaranteed place in the first Major of this upcoming season. The team still has time until the 16th of November for The MDL Chengdu Major. We hope that they can use this time to settle in and get used to the new environment so that they can prove themselves to the Team Spirit Executives.
