Star Wars Battlefront 2: Celebration Edition Update Brings New Map, Units and Content

The saga may be ending but the game is not yet. As Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker approaches this week, the entire saga of Skywalkers alongside the new trilogy comes to an end. EA is marking it occasionally with Star Wars Battlefront II. It seems that Star Wars Battlefront 2 is getting a new 1.44 update. That will add content from the latest film in the franchise. All of that, alongside a new “Celebration Edition” that compiles every previous inclusions in one update.

The Battlefront 2 free 1.44 update of “Rise of Skywalker” has now been available to the players since December 17. The update also adds a new forest planet for Co-Op and other modes. Such as Heroes vs Villains mode alongside various new reinforcement units. Including a Sith Infiltrator, Resistance Gunner and Spy, First Order Jet Trooper and many more can be marked. Even though the update may seem obvious, there are new looks and skins available for Finn, Rey and Kylo Ren according to their new appearances in the next instalment in the saga.

The Adventure Goes on

Furthermore, The Celebration Edition will also be including all the free content updates alongside paid customization content in case you missed out any of the recent years in Battlefront. The update will allow you to upgrade to all of those including new perks from the Rise of the Skywalker update itself. The update is purchasable for $40 or you can also upgrade your existing version if you want. It will cost you only $25 for the Celebration Edition.

Electronic Arts reportedly said that the game will still be continuing even though the saga is on its end. January update will be bringing two new capital ships. The ships will be The Resistance MC85 and Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer. Alongside them BB-8 and BB-9E as the heroes for Resistance and First Order. Respectively, more updates will also launch in February and the upcoming months as well as more packs.
