Mousesports overcome Fnatic to become CS:GO champions at the ESL Season 10 finals
Fnatic lost against Mousesports in the grand finals of CS:GO championship. Finn “karrigan” Andersen was leading the roster of Mousesports and had shown great leadership. At the end of the match, the team eliminated Fnatic with 3-0 score. This means they are now the champions of ESL Pro League season 10 grand finals.
It has been a rough year for Mousesports. In the CS:GO Asia Championships, the team was on the brink of elimination. They barely won against TYLOO. The team also had a mixed win and lose rate. However, just two weeks ago, Mousesports had won the CS:GO Asia Championships. After their huge victory, it seems that they decided to push even harder and show their stunning talents in ESL Pro League grand finals.
On another note, Fnatic wasn’t performing as they used to in their past matches. They have lost on Train with 10-16, on Inferno 11-16, and on Mirage 11-16. Fnatic struggled to gain control for the majority of the match. Mousesports were supressing their team in every chance. There were even moments of anger within the Fnatic’s team.
The most notable player in this match was Robin “ropz” Kool. He played alongside Chris “chrisl” de Jong. Throughout the match, he had shown a very intense gameplay. He finished with a whopping 74 kills dying only 45 times.
During the ESL Pro League season 10 grand finals, Mousesports won against Evil Geniuses, Astralis, Renegades, ATK, and lastly Fnatic. The championship means that they are now the owner of $250,000 prize. They will also get a slot for the upcoming season of IEM Katowice 2020 and will get one point for Intel Grand Slam.
Next match will take place at cs_summit 5 on 12 December, Thursday. Mousesports, FURIA, MIBR, OG, Virtus Pro, and G2 will be playing against each other.
