The rundown to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is almost upon us. However, those who want to know how soon & where you can get your hands on it, we’ve got you covered. First, let’s cover some background for those not in the loop. Jedi: Fallen Order is an upcoming single-player adventure game from EA & respawn Entertainment. It follows a young Padawan, Cal Kestis, as he struggles to escape the Empire post-Order 66. We find our protagonist on the run, being pursued by the Inquisitors. They are hand-picked subjects of Darth Vader, whose only mission is to hunt down Force-users.
The story trailer opens with Cal Kestis, the game’s protagonist, escaping from Second Sister, one of the Imperial Inquisitors tasked with hunting down the last of the Jedi. Cal is saved by Cere Junda, a Jedi Knight in hiding. From there, we learn Cal is searching for “something very precious to the Empire.” What that very precious thing is the trailer doesn’t reveal, but it’s likely the plot device that will pull players through Fallen Order’s narrative.
They also released a fresh-look of the game with a 14-minute gameplay clip earlier this year.
So where & when can I play Jedi: Fallen Order?
EA recently confirmed they won’t have an early access release for this title “to reduce the risk of story spoilers.” The official release time for US customers is midnight on Friday, November 15 EST. If you’re on Pacific time, that means you can start playing at 9 pm on Thursday. The UK release time for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is 7 pm GMT on November 14 on Origin, Xbox One, and PS4.
For the physical retail copy, it’ll depend how promptly your retailer stocks up ready for November 15th.
