Call of Duty’s schedule for it’s $6 million championship has been revealed.
Call of Duty’s full Championship schedule has been released for its opening season. It consists of a home team series tournament. Moreover, the championship will broadcast exclusively on Playstation 4. It will boast a total prize pool of over $6 million (£4.9 million). It will also showcase the first Call of Duty
Challengers for amateur participants where online competition starts in November. Opponents groups
can obtain earlier passes for the launch weekend in December. With the release of the cod 2020 championship schedule, it’s all starting to heat up. Now lets see what cod league 2020 will look like and also see which team rosters are confirmed for the 6 million prize worth tournament.
On January 24th, Minnesota RØKKR start of the season by becoming a host to the other 11 groups in a
collection of five-on-five matches during the opening at Minneapolis Armory. All 12 teams will be
competing at the tournament although that is not the occasion for each occasion throughout the year.
Implemented for the first time, Call of Duty e-sports is using a home and away system where each groups
will travel to a chosen locations by their opponents. With the new implementation of city-based
franchising, groups will organize their home series tournaments in their region. Two upcoming dates that
will be announced later are Championship Weekend and Midseason Weekend substituting the main
events as stated in the calendar.
All 12 franchises had their identities and branding approved on November 2nd. The participants
of the Call of Duty are Paris Legion, Seattle Surge, Toronto Ultra, OpTic Gaming Los Angeles, New York
Subliners, Minnesota RØKKR, Los Angeles Guerrillas, London Royal Ravens, Florida Mutineers, Dallas
Empire, Chicago Huntsmen and Atlanta FaZe.
