Physical Football meets Virtual Football
Professional football player Alessio Romagnoli is finalising his preparations for his upcoming FIFA E-Sports team. The experienced player who plays in AC Milan and Italian national team will be sponsored by Pro2Be Esports, which will also be conducting the managerial tasks of the team. The team has already added three incredibly talented E-sport competitors, where one will be responsible for the coaching of the final team.
As the team prepares itself for FIFA 2020, Alessio Romagnoli released a press release where he said “As a big fan of video games, and to be more specific FIFA, my interest in esports grew significantly in the past few months. I was amazed by the abilities of the pro players in international ESport tournaments, which increased my interest in the field,” said Romagnoli.
Still the Same Spirit
“As my interest grow, I came to the realisation that the spirit behind the football I play and virtual football is the same. This lead me to creating my own FIFA Esports Team with my name and spirit. We are aiming to gain the support of the fans as we compete and succeed internationally.”
Meanwhile, EA Sports, the producers of FIFA 20 Global Series, will be giving over $3 Million as a price in this years FIFA Esport tournament. The new season of FIFA Ultimate Team Champions Cup is set to begin on the 8th of November and the FIFA eWorld Cup will be finalised in July 2020.
